David Sedaris’ creative non-fiction

I thought that this genre is really interesting.  I have never done or seen this before.  As for the example shown in class, I really liked the music that went along with it.  In addition, he used a lot of sarcasm because I am always sarcastic.  He voice held meeting and even though it was filled with sarcasm, it match what he was saying. However, his piece was inappropriate at some points and I am not sure if I would ever listen to the rest of it if it wasn't assigned.  I think that this project is going to be difficult to start, however once started the ideas will just flow.  Also, it is going to be weird to turn it into an audio file.

  1. Ah, Sedaris can border the lines of humorous and offensive at times, true. If you are uncomfortable listening to his work, then feel free not to listen all the way through; since you have a reason for not listening.

IMPORTANT note about Project Two. I will try to emphasize this more on Thursday, but you do NOT HAVE TO do the audio file. It's just an option. :) I will definitely accept just Creative Non-Fiction in print form alone, if that helps put some concerns at ease.
