The wording of the speeches to scholarship essay really stood out for me. I liked how it a college student could relate to the text. I also really liked the questions, because it forced the writer to think about the topic in depth and how to make it interesting for the audience without offending anyone.
The posters are trying to rhetorically convince their audience to help them achieve their goals, whether it was to buy their product or attend their meeting. My least favorite would be the career fair, I thought it wasnt rhetorically affective. My favorite would be the lemons on the string. It caught the attention of the audience and made them want to stop to look at them.
Right now I will most likely want to revamp the career poster unless I find a better one.

First Essay
I really liked how there was no page requirements, because it gave us the freedom to write until our idea was clearly expressed. I was able to express my thoughts without having to write until I filled the minimum. However, I did not like how we were suppose to write about something that interested me, because it made finding resources difficult. Most of the information in the resources I used, I already knew. On the other hand it was nice to know that my existing knowledge was also supported by this sources.
I thought that the library day was sort of a waste of time. I already knew how to find credible sources due to the fact we did the same thing in my communications class. Although, I did use refworks in this paper and I found it very helpful when it came time to do my work cited page. I even compared it to what the apa website and refworks had all the appropriate citing requirements. However, I feel like the time in the library could have been better spent in the classroom.. We could have gone over refworks and then had a workday.
